Scaling up the fretboard

The D and G strings join in.

We've learned that we can play a scale on one string, now lets try playing in a box.

Don't worry about playing the A string in this lesson, we'll cover it in lesson 5 because it's special. For now, let's focus on playing the middle box.

Now we have options, which is the key to unlocking our ability to improvise. The low E string helps to bring the bass and the D and G strings bring that sweet melody.
